And when I started the class, I still felt the terminology was very unfamiliar, and I really had to stay with the classes and listen to become familiar with the language and the tools. “Prior to the class, I used to describe myself as a non-techie. I had this thing in my head that this was gonna be way beyond me, even though everybody was saying, ‘You don’t have to be a coder. You don’t have to know how to do any of this.’ I’ve never had an online workflow in my life, or digital workflow in my life. I’ve had, you know, old-school paper workflows.
I wasn’t actually, to be honest, even sure that I would manage what was gonna be taught in the class. The way you teach is super helpful, because the class we had, there were people of all different levels, right? There were some people that were even more of a beginner than myself, and then there were people that were further along and were just looking for some ways to really see how they could move their workflows along. So I thought that that was really well handled, and I like the way you all work together.
And to my amazement, I actually started doing things that I would have never dreamt, prior to the class, that I would’ve been doing. I was way more confident, and by the time the end of the class rolled around, I no longer can describe myself as a non-techie.
